Are you the sort of person who makes lots of notes, quickly getting through reams of paper? Do you have trouble finding notes you've made previously, sifting through lots of them to find the one you need?
If so, Adpinxi could be the answer to your problems. It's designed to replicate the functions provided by a traditional paper notebook, but in a quicker, easier and tidier way. With Adpinxi on your PC you no longer have a need for paper, allowing you to clear your desk of clutter and find things more easily.
Adpinxi allows you to place each note you make into one of eight categories: note, important note, idea, thing to do, thing to remember, phone number, Internet address and password. The reason for these categories is two-fold: it enables you to clearly see what the content of each note is, and allows you to search for items within a specific category.
The main advantages of Adpinxi over a traditional notebook are the immediate reduction in clutter on your desk, and the ability to search for information. This enables you to find and display information in seconds - no more sifting through pages of paper notes.
Adpinxi is designed to be quick and easy to use, being free of clutter and unnecessary buttons. The area in which you store notes looks just like a traditional ring-bound notebook but, unlike the paper equivalent, you can cut, paste, delete, move and edit notes as you please.
The only gripe I have with the software is that there are no pages preloaded - on your first use you are presented with the current day, but that's it. When you use it the next day, you are presented with the current day and any previous days you have created.
This means if you want to make a note of something occuring in the future, you have to physically create the date page in the notebook first. Surely it would have been better to have a built-in diary like most electronic calendars?
