It's time to upgrade my phone again. I need a handset that also does email and works well as a PDA. While I'd really like to get one of the new Sony Ericsson P990i smartphones, it seems they are not available yet. I've been using a T-Mobile MDA Vario, which would be a good compromise in terms of size and features, but I'm not impressed with its Windows based software - many a time the phone has been ringing but refused to let me answer it, presumably because Windows is too busy doing important background jobs to be interrupted by little old me. If it worked well it would be a fine phone, but mine seems to be flaky. To be fair, other people using them say they work well... what do you think?
