With sales in excess of the Hollywood film industry, computer games are fast becoming one of the most popular forms of entertainment, with some 60 per cent of all Americans playing regularly. But Europe is fast catching up, and the stereotypical image of the average player is changing dramatically, with nearly half of those indulging being women of around 28 years old.
