The last 12 months has seen an increase in the number of hack attacks. But, while the media has been reporting the drowning of the internet under a sea of worms, Trojans and other nasties, the web is still alive and kicking. More hackers have been carted off to jail, but they've also been seen in 'white hat' roles attacking terrorists, finding their bank accounts and helping the FBI with its inquiries.
