No Mini
Too small ever for web surfing. Also, 4:3 is old standard for watching TV show. All my videos and photos taken currently are 16:9 right now. Their screen ratio is still standing at 80's. Unbelievable.

I'll Stick With iPod touch
I had a 7" Galaxy Tab and I never used it. I rooted it, put Gingerbread on it, but never felt inspired to do anything with it after I downloaded a bunch of apps. Maybe it was the plasticky design and geeky nature of the Android OS? I dunno, I definitely feel inspired by the iPod Touch, both 4th and 5th (newest) generations. They feel very sleek, well designed, and I love the picture editing apps for them.

Samsung 7.7 - Perfect Choice
Superb screen, expandable memory, great battery life and more than enough apps for the most discerning user. What else do you need?

Fully capable tablet wanted
I want a tablet that runs proper applications and not just apps. Win8Pro looks like it might do the job.

Surface
just purchased the Microsoft Surface last week. this blows away my ipad and i'm sure any other tablet. It is the right mix of recreational and work. It has Office on it which makes it a huge hit with me and second the live tiles are awesome at keeping me updated. I'm even thinking about a windows phone 8 because of the experience.

Nexus 7 3G
I'll be getting an 3G Nexus 7 for my wife. My friend has a non-3G version and loves it. I have a Transformer Prime and love that. Apple is too basic now with its lack of widgets and the Android app market is growing at a faster rate than Apple's so the app argument will be null and void soon. If you want to look into the future, you'll see Android apps overtaking as there are already more Android devices out there and the swing to Android away from Apple is goring all the time. This means there is a bigger market for Android development and therefore more money for developers in that market place. Now add in the fact that the Nexus 7 is sooooo much cheaper and better spec'd than the iPad-mini ... and it's a no brainer.

Android OS is the winner
I will be purchasing a Nexus 7 for my wife to replace her Kindle Fire and a Nexus 10 to replace my loved Motorola Xoom. The Android OS makes all the difference and is so much more user friendly.

It''s the apps that make Apple
I want a smaller tablet, but am sticking to Apple because it has so many more apps than other tablets.
