The first BlackBerry 10 smartphones have been shown off by the company formerly known as Research in Motion, which also used its global launch event on Wednesday to reveal its ditching its name to simply be known as BlackBerry.
V3 managed to get some hands on time with BB10's flagship Z10 handset to see the final build of the platform and the hardware the firm is hoping will revive its ailing fortunes.
The Z10 will be the first device to ship in the UK, available from 31 January through outlets including Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, Vodafone, O2, Three and BT according to BlackBerry.
Check back with V3 later for full review of the smartphone.
