While Apple can take a large slice of the credit invigorating for burgeoning tablet market, thanks to the release of its first iPad, it has dragged its feet entering the affordable 7in device space.
That has allowed both Google and Amazon to monopolise the space, releasing their popular Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD devices.
However, despite this its released a notable challenger with the iPad Mini, with its 7.9in screen housed within a solid design and boasting good battery life, while it's also lightweight and highly portable, if prone to the odd scratch.
