V3 is at SES New York this week and reported live from the Google keynote on Tuesday 20 March at 1pm GMT/9am EST.

During the keynote, Avinash Kaushik, Google analytics evangelist, told digital marketers to strive to understand what they are doing - and attribute value to those marketing activities.

Kaushik also discussed how Google Analytics now includes tools designed to help marketers identify the value of traffic coming from social sites and measure how they lead to conversions.
