Meg Whitman outlines future plans for HP (video)

VIENNA: HP chief executive Meg Whitman has used the HP Discover event in Vienna to outline ways in which she is overhauling the company to meet the needs of customers.

Whitman said that she wants to improve HP's e-commerce offerings to make it easier for organisations to purchase from HP, and increase staff numbers to provide enough account managers for customers.

HP will also continue its increased investment in research and development, despite poor financial results released last week.
