Two improved MacBook Pro laptops with enhanced memory could be released by Apple in November after details of the products were apparently leaked on the firm's web site.
A search for 'MacBook Pro' returns a list of current devices for sale on the site as well as two entries for a MacBook Pro Memory Model, which ships in November (see below).
Product pages show there could be a 15in model with a 2.33GHz processor, and another with a 2.66GHz Processor and a 1066MHz DDR3 memory module.
Rumours that Apple is to update its MacBook Pro range have been gathering momentum this month, with reports emerging that all the models – the 13in, the 15in and the 17in – will have faster processors as well as Bluetooth 4.0, which Apple has also just made available in the iPhone 4S
However, doubts have been cast on whether the information on the two pages is correct as Apple MacBooks use Intel processors, and Intel does not manufacture processors that match the performance of the two devices listed on Apple's site.
V3 contacted Apple for comment on the products but had received no reply at the time of publication.
The supposed leak comes as Apple is set to announce its earning results for the fourth quarter later on Tuesday and analysts have speculated that they will continue to be strong.
Apple posted its strongest second quarter ever in July, reporting $28.6bn in revenues and $7.31bn in profits, an 82 per cent increase from 2010.
The firm also announced on Monday that it had sold four million iPhone 4S handsets in the three days following the launch of the device, as the firm continues to dominate the smartphone market.
