Following its debut as a ring-tone and mobile mascot, the Crazy Frog (also known as the Annoying Thing) is poised to hop onto PlayStations and PCs.
Whether you love or loathe the grinning, bike-riding amphibian, there is little chance of escaping him this year after Digital Jesters won the rights to Crazy Frog from Wallaroo Licensing Company.
Digital Jesters announced today that it has secured exclusive worldwide interactive entertainment rights across all formats, and will publish the first Crazy Frog computer and videogame this November for PCs and the PlayStation 2.
Crazy Frog Racer is due to hit the shelves in Europe in November, priced at £19.99. Distribution to other territories will follow in the first quarter of 2006.
The games follow on from a stunningly successful run for the character, which has already clocked up a UK hit single and is preparing an album for this summer.
