Microsoft has agreed a deal with Lenovo to pre-install its Windows Live toolbar onto all the company's PCs and notebooks, according to Reuters.
This deal between Redmond and the Chinese giant will supplant a similar deal that Lenovo had with Google.

The agreement will set Microsoft's Live.com customisable news, information and search engine site as the default homepage for Lenovo PC users, and add a Windows toolbar inside the PC's Internet Explorer browser.
The settings are not cast in stone, as users can change them, but the majority of people are expected to stick with the default settings.
Microsoft is hoping that the deal will help it claw back some search market share from Google.
Windows Live search currently ranks third behind Google and Yahoo with a 11 per cent market share, according to data from research firm comScore Networks.
