The iPhone 4 reigned supreme in the first ever V3.co.uk Tech Awards, and it's clear that the device has become a firm favourite with enterprise users.
The ability to access corporate email is the most important business use of smartphones but, with over 300,000 apps in the App Store, there are many other tools that can aid productivity.
We've rounded up some of the best, ranging from expense tracking to remote desktop control tools.

Mention: Skype (Free)
Despite the emergence of FaceTime for the iPhone 4, Skype remains a popular VoIP
and instant messaging application.
Users can make international calls, and send text messages from an iPhone 3G. But it's the ability to make those calls over Wi-Fi which makes this app really appealing.

Mention: LinkedIn (Free)
Business cards are so 1995, or that's what anyone on LinkedIn will tell you. The
'business networking' site allows people to keep in touch with professionals
they may have met at conferences and business meetings.
Users can search for contacts, view messages and keep track of who's doing what. Best of all, the app even allows details to be copied to the iPhone's contacts list.

Find my iPhone (Free)
A reason to upgrade to iOS 4.2 if you haven't already done so, Find my iPhone is
an invaluable tool for those who regularly misplace their device.
Simply register the iPhone and log into Me.com from any browser to reveal its location. Handsets can also be locked, and a message can be displayed just in case a kind soul decides to return it.
Owners who can see that the iPhone is close by can trigger a sound to aid its safe retrieval even from the deepest corner of the sofa. Thankfully, all confidential data can be erased with a click of a button if the device proves to be irretrievable.
