This week Windows 7 and mobile news dominated the top 10. Our most popular story of the week by far was the news that Microsoft had officially confirmed the date for the Release Candidate version of its new operating system, Windows 7.
Another Windows 7 story, this time covering the fact that the new OS is to have XP compatibility functionality, also made it into the top 10.
Among the mobile news, Samsung's announcement of its first phone based on Google's Android operating system, and T-Mobile's update to its own Android G1 device, featured strongly.
