Sanyo has unveiled its first 3G handset for the UK market, which will only be available to Orange customers.
The electronics giant claimed that the S750 has the largest mobile screen on the market at 2.4in. It also has a built-in 1.3 megapixel video/still camera with flash and x4 digital zoom.
"Our expertise in key devices, such as batteries, LCD modules and camera modules, ensures that we are strongly placed to drive the 3G market," said Masatsugu Yamano, president of Sanyo Fisher Sales (Europe).
The new phone weighs 122g and has a battery life of 260 hours on standby, 170 minutes talk time or 100 minutes of video telephony. It comes with 8MB internal storage, SD card slot, Bluetooth, MP3 player and Wap and Java support.
Sanyo said that no UK prices have been confirmed, but added that when sold the phones will be Sim locked so that only Orange customers can use them.
