Companies around the globe were hit last night by a virus masquerading as a picture of tennis pin-up Anna Kournikova.

Instead of displaying a picture of the tennis star the virus uses the Visual Basic scripting language to infect Outlook and mails itself out to contacts in the infected user's address book.

Experts warned the bug was spreading twice as fast as the deadly Love Bug, which struck businesses worldwide last year causing millions of pounds worth of damage.

Vnunet.com keeps you up to date with the virus' progress and the latest information on how to protect your systems.
