Skype's 74 million users will have access to ring-tones by the likes of Madonna and Green Day

Music giant Warner Music Group yesterday announced an agreement to make recordings from its catalogue of famous artists available as ring-tones to VoIP provider Skype and its 74 million registered users.

In the coming months, consumers will be able to download 'master' ring-tones by artists including Madonna and Green Day through Skype's online retail store.

The Skype store is expected to expand to include ring-back tones and other music-based personalisation content from Warner artists, the companies said.
