V3.co.uk has launched its first annual Technology Awards, giving our readers the opportunity to vote on the best business products and IT events of the year.

We've put together a shortlist of the best business laptops, smartphones, hardware and software, and we need your input to choose the winner in each category. Will it be a Lenovo ThinkPad, Dell server or iPhone that takes the crown?

You can also nominate your tech hero and villain of the year - Steve Jobs, Tim Berners-Lee, Mark Zuckerberg and Ray Ozzie are all in there, waiting for your votes.

The awards survey will only take a couple of minutes to complete, and as an extra incentive, we'll enter you into our prize draw to win an Amazon Kindle. You can take the survey here.
