John Prescott has been chosen by the British public to be the latest target of a satirical US video website.
Heavy.com, which attracts 12 million visitors a week in the US, asked members of the UK public which well known figures should star in a new international section of the website.
The Deputy Prime Minister was the unanimous winner, claiming 68 per cent of the vote.
In the spoof video, Prescott is 'interviewed' about an upcoming role as a gay cowboy in 'Brokeback Mounting'.
The film is a tribute to his recent visit to the ranch of US tycoon Philip Anschutz and professed love of all things 'wild west'.
"This man is an enigma! We came to Britain thinking Tony Blair or a particularly seedy soap star would be your first choice," said David Carson, co-founder of Heavy.com.
"The vote for Prescott was overwhelming and took us completely by surprise, but looking at the recent headlines we quickly realised why he more than deserves our attention."
The Prescott video has been viewed by an estimated 500,000 people so far.
