The latest twist in the David and Goliath battle between Microsoft and i4i was the most popular story this week among V3.co.uk readers, followed by rumours of a new Microsoft tablet device that it no doubt hopes will take on Apple's upcoming iPad. We shall see.
Google, meanwhile, has been beetling around Britain in its little car taking pictures of country lanes and rural retreats, and readers were keen to see that the firm's Street View now covers practically every nook and cranny of the UK.
As ever, the latest security issues were popular, including an interview with Bruce Schneier at RSA, and news of a malware infection in Energizer battery chargers.
The progress of the Digital Economy Bill continues to attract interest, as did the announcement of the latest winner of the Turing Award.
And finally, readers were fascinated to learn that Vodafone managed to ship a mobile phone with a botnet client already preinstalled.
