Dell has unveiled a new line of laser printers designed for home users and small to medium sized businesses.
The printers range from a low-cost black and white model, to a multi-function colour laser system which includes copying and scanning capabilities.
Dell is aiming the 2230d model, a black and white direct connection printer, at users who want an affordable laser printer for use with a single computer.
The 1235cn colour laser model sports multi-function capabilities, a 16.3in x 14.7in footprint and scanning and fax capabilities.
The 2145cn system, meanwhile, is aimed at small firms and offers copy and print features along with an 80GB hard disk, and a 350-sheet standard paper capacity.
Each of the new models will also support double-sided printing, and the laser models run with some 25 per cent more energy efficiency than conventional printer models, according to Dell.
Earlier in the day, Dell unveiled a rugged notebook model which sports a "ballistic armour" casing.
