Information security vendor SafeNet has launched a gateway product designed to offer superior performance and scalability, and enhanced protection from web and email borne threats.
The eSafe SmartSuite Secure Gateway is built on an entirely new gateway platform to offer intelligent inspection of all inbound and outbound email and web traffic, enabling integrated content security and data leak prevention, according to the firm.
The product also features anti-malware and anti-virus engines for enhanced protection, and trend analysis and reporting tools to provide insights into threats and events, user activity and productivity, and network and file activities, said SafeNet.
"As part of the new SafeNet family, eSafe SmartSuite represents the future of content security, protecting against threats while delivering the ease of use, visibility and management insight that today's businesses need," said Rami Shalom, managing director of content security at SafeNet.
"In today's market and in this challenging global economy, SafeNet understands that businesses need to do more with less, while still maintaining the integrity of their security programmes."
