BT is attempting to cash in on the increasingly popular MP3 music format to attract people to the site. Musicians can submit MP3 tracks, which will be judged in a monthly top 10. The first chart will be compiled by DJ Tall Paul.
For MP3 virgins the site will carry full details on how to upload and download the files. It will also feature downloadable drum machine programmes, a variety of studio tools and a gig channel where bands can register their next show.
