Thousands of horrified Seinfeld fans are bombarding a dedicated Web site with petitions demanding justice for Jerry and his friends after they were put in jail during the last episode of the sitcom.

The petition will be given to Seinfeld's attorney Jackie Chiles for submission to the Supreme Court to appeal against Judge Vandelay's decision.

A contest is also under way to submit the best escape plan to free Jerry for the winter, and the winner will receive an all-expenses paid, one-week trip for two to Paris, the intended destination of Jerry and the gang, or Latham, Massachussetts, where they ended up. The 'Free Jerry' Web site was developed and sponsored by Wind-up Records and can be accessed at 'www.freejerry.com'.
