Acer has joined forces with Ideal Hardware to boost its presence in the portable market.
On 8 February, Ideal Hardware will become Acer's ninth distribution partner, joining the likes of Datrontech, Enta Technologies, Midwich Thame and Northamber. Although the deal will see Ideal focus on increasing Acer's notebook share within the market, the distributor will also carry Acer's PC and server range.
"We look forward to helping Acer develop its brand perception and market share within the UK," said Mark Walker, Ideal's managing director.
Scott Dodds, Acer sales director, added: "We are committed to 100 per cent channel business and we want to support the channel with the best distributors in the industry."
