Microsoft has teamed up with music site NME.com to add news and reviews to MSN Music.
The partnership will add up-to-the-minute news and daily album reviews to the existing music download service, along with celebrity interviews, music videos and concert ticket sales.
"Our new partnership with NME.com will offer even richer content on MSN Music and ensure that it is a key destination for all serious music fans," said Mike Lok, manager of MSN Music.
Microsoft and NME have also promised to explore ways to extend the service and the partnership.
Steven Wilson-Beales, entertainment content manager at Microsoft, told vnunet.com that the partnership is a syndication deal that will provide MSN Music with a feed of all of NME's music news and reviews, allowing their own content writers to focus on features and opinon pieces.
