Games company Eidos has let slip details about the next generation of the ever-popular Tomb Raider game.

Apparently, Lara Croft's fifth outing will be a three-part adventure across Paris and Prague.

It will feature a playable companion, Curtis Trent, who has joined forces with our heroine.

Later this week Core Design, the developers behind Tomb Raider, are expected to display sneak previews of artwork and screenshots from the new game, along with the title of the latest in the series of Lara Croft adventures.

The latest game is expected to be the first in a series allowing future Lara Croft adventures to expand on the storyline.

It is expected to be released on PC and PS2 in December. Further details will be available later this week.
