Online retailer Buy.com has been hit with a law suit after a pricing mistake led to hundreds of orders for a monitor at the cut down price of $164 not being fulfilled.
The class action suit filed in California by attorney Gary Sodikoff, alleges that Buy.com advertised the monitor but had no intention of selling it at the price and made false or misleading statements about the reason for the typing mistake.

Buy.com insists it was an innocent error and had agreed to sell only a limited number of the monitors on a first come first served basis.
