SpinRecords.com has launched an MP3 made-easy package for musicians and music lovers who do not know how to use online music compression technology.
Internet Music Made Easy is a complete MP3 package that includes a step by step 'how-to' video, free MP3 software, a web music site guide, and a booklet with detailed instructions on how to create and download MP3 files, with troubleshooting tips.
Wayne Irving, SpinRecord's president and chief executive, said: "When you are as intensely focused on the internet industry as we are, it can be easy to forget that not everyone is an expert. Despite the incredible popularity of the MP3 format, the revolution is still in its infancy."
The product will cost $19.95, although SpinRecords.com claims it is worth at least $500 if all contributions from partners are taken into account. It is expected to appear in US stores later this month.
SpinRecords.com's partners include Creative Labs/Lava! MusicMatch, Earthlink, Listen.com, half.com, Sonic Foundry, Q Design, Visiosonic, Magix Entertainment, GoToWorld.com and Nettaxi.com.
SpinRecords.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Solutions Media (SMI). Its internet advisory council includes actor and director, Kiefer Sutherland, and rapper, Ice-T.
