Along with access to music, television and movies, users of the video iPod and other similar gadgets now have another content option at their fingertips.
The Washington Post reports that adult entertainment giants Playboy and Penthouse are preparing to unveil movies specifically for portable media viewing.
Newly launched internet porn providers, such as Xobile, are being created to market the 'mini-porn' designed for small-screen devices.
But with porn now being made more accessible, the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association, a trade group for US mobile carriers, has suggested a rating system to prevent children from viewing unsuitable material.
However, the organisation warned that this will not prevent any user from downloading porn to a mobile device such as the iPod Video.
