RIM has published the pricing for its paid applications on BlackBerry App World and in doing so has informed BlackBerry users that they will be paying more for their applications than iPhone users.
The pricing is to give mobile apps developers an idea of how much they can charge for their creations.
RIM has said that the lowest price people can expect to pay for applications is £2.59, or $2.99 for US BlackBerry owners, a higher fee than the iPhone's lowest application price of 59p. Both RIM and Apple offer free applications as well.
In related RIM news, pictures have been leaked of the new Blackberry 9630. The new version, as seen by CrackBerry, features the same chrome trim as models such as the BlackBerry Bold but boasts a bigger screen.
