Online productivity firm Zoho has announced an update to its Zoho Show presentation software, offering new transitions and animations and support for Google's Chrome browser.
Zoho marketing director Rodrigo Vaca said in a blog post that the move follows numerous requests for the features from customers.
"We have added 30 slide transitions and five in-slide animations that you can add to a Zoho Show presentation. And when you import a PowerPoint presentation that has transitions, we import those with it too," he said.
The new options allow users to set presentations to cover, wipe, split and fade, and to set the speed at which the various transitions play.
Vaca also explained that the product has been updated to allow users to run the application in Chrome for editing as well as viewing.
"Previously, you were only able to view presentations when using Chrome, but now you can edit too. We are a big fan of Chrome's stability, speed and what it means for online applications like ours, so this was a natural step for us," he said.
Finally, the company has redesigned the embedding options for Zoho Show presentations by removing the need to edit HTML to embed video, making it easier to manage the size of a video when placed on a web site.
