Web-based applications vendor Zoho has updated its CRM platform with tools that allow users to integrate the service with data from QuickBooks and telephony platforms.
The QuickBooks integration component will let companies transfer customer data from the application into the Zoho CRM service, and import, export and synchronise data between the two platforms.
The Phone Bridge tool, meanwhile, allows the Zoho CRM platform to connect with telephony services and provide integration for incoming and outgoing calls.
"When performing a task, users want to transparently move from one step to the next, regardless of how many applications it takes to perform that task," said Zoho evangelist Raju Vegesna.
"Zoho CRM for QuickBooks and Zoho PhoneBridge make it easy for people in accounting departments and contact centres to tap the customer data found in Zoho CRM."
The Zoho update comes as one of the company's CRM rivals is wrapping up its biggest developer conference.
Salesforce.com used its Dreamforce event to announce a BlackBerry app and a free version of its Chatter collaboration tool.
