The Orange packages allow firms to switch between services as and when necessary

Orange has launched a flexible range of mobile business tariffs designed to offer benefits that can be changed on a month-to-month basis.

The offerings are aimed at small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and provide the ability to switch between services, such as unlimited texts, free calls from abroad and data roaming, as and when necessary.

"Based on some in-depth work in the past nine months we found that many SMEs want to be able to get the most from their investments by accessing the services they most need," said Martin Lyne, director for SME business at Orange.

"With long-time contracts becoming the norm, it can be hard for SMEs to know what they are going to need most over that period of time. With this offering they can change as their needs change over time."

Lyne explained that customers can phone an Orange operator to switch services when they need to, and that the service will be available from 3 May for new customers and for existing customers when they come to renew their contracts.

The service is available as part of Orange's Business Solo, Business SIM and Business Sense packages, which offer a range of calling options depending on a company's size.

Customers can include specific add-ons for £6.38 a month, covering unlimited texts, Orange-to-Orange calls, landline calls, 30 per cent off international calls from the UK and discounts on calls made while abroad.

Orange also announced that it will offer a month's free trial of the Huddle project management and document sharing service from 4 May, and offer the service at a 15 per cent reduced subscription to all new Business Everywhere customers.
