Dell has announced a new line of Inspiron desktop systems that will be available in the UK later in the spring.
Aimed at consumers, the Inspiron 545 and 546 lines are both available in a mini tower format, while the 545 is also available in a more compact slim tower design, the 545s. Prices start at £279 including VAT and delivery.
The systems can be customised to meet an individual's budget, lifestyle and needs, according to Dell, and come in a choice of eight colour schemes.
"Customers have complete control in choosing processors, form factors and colours to build an Inspiron desktop that's high in function and style," said Dell's director of consumer marketing, David Clifton.
Each Inspiron desktop is available with up to 8GB memory, and hard disk options up to 1TB, while the mini tower models can be fitted with a Blu-ray optical drive.
The Inspiron PCs are available with a wide range of processors, from Intel Celeron through to Core 2 Quad, or AMD Sempron Athlon X2 and Phenom X4 chips.
