The top story with V3.co.uk readers this week was Apple chief Steve Jobs's extraordinary dig at Google, in which he derided the search firm's 'Don't be evil' motto in an expletive-filled diatribe. Perhaps Steve is a little miffed at the less than enthusiastic reception for his new iPad device, which Apple has said will arrive in the UK in March.
Microsoft's Internet Explorer was also a hot news item for readers, following reports that IE8 is now the most popular browser worldwide, but that IE6 appears to be the most vilified, particularly after the emergence of yet another serious flaw.
Other popular items included rumours of a Google tablet running Chrome, a nice poem written by departing Sun chief Jonathan Schwartz, and a new ultraportable in Dell's Latitude range.
