Smart Technologies has launched what it claims is a new video-conferencing solution that will allow users to connect with colleagues in other locations through an interactive whiteboard.
The firm said that its interactive whiteboards combine the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer.
The whiteboard can be connected to a computer and digital projector and the applications can then be controlled directly from the display.
Smart Technologies is releasing three new products - Meeting Pro, Hub SE and Hub PE - which it said will allow customers to conduct live interactive meetings with teams in other locations.
The company claimed that the solutions create a more collaborative environment than traditional video-conferencing products.
"Creating a dynamic working environment where knowledge can be shared, ideas can be generated and better decisions can be made faster across multiple locations is key to remaining competitive and seizing the opportunities available in today's global economy," said David Martin, Smart Technologies executive chairman.
