Never To Forget Reading Rainbow
Roots may have been the pivotal point in putting Levar Burton on the map...but him staying there, "in the know" being a "who's who?" being a "name" was Reading Rainbow. Because of Levar's devotion to that show...kids grew up knowing that they "could do anything" and "go anywhere" and "where to take a look."

Reading Rainbow
I think it depends on who you ask. Some people will remember Mr. Burton from SS, others for RR, and others for Roots. - Just goes to show what an amazing career he has had and the variety of topics that he has address as an actor/educator. Mr. Burton is one in a million.

So never mind his ground breaking role in Roots, or his 26 years of Reading Rainbow... LeVar is "Geordi LaForge" now and forever?
