Intel has unveiled a range of low-end chips

Intel has announced new quad-core and dual-core processors at the bottom end of its price and specification range, and a new Celeron chip.

The Q8200 is a 2.33GHz quad-core chip with 4MB of level-2 cache, the lowest of any quad-core processor.

This means that the speed of the chip is reduced as it cannot handle as many processes as processors with a larger cache.

The Q8200 is the second cheapest in Intel's quad-core range and is priced at $224 in quantities of 1,000.

The new E5200 dual-core processor has a core clock speed of 2.5GHz, 2MB of cache memory and an 800MHz front-side bus. It costs $84 in quantities of 1,000.

Finally the new Celeron D450 runs at 2.2GHz, has a 800MHz front-side bus and 512k L2 cache. It is priced at $53 in quantities of 1,000.
