Serious Linux fans are now able to tune into an Australian radio network which has started a mammoth project (surely penguin project, Ed) to read out the four million lines of code which comprise the operating system's kernel.
Radioqualia said that it launched the bizarre project to celebrate the fourth birthday of the open source movement.

The radio broadcaster is estimating that the entire computer-generated recital will take almost two years.
Clive Longbottom, services director at analyst QuoCirca, kept his tongue firmly in check when he pointed out an obvious flaw in the project.
"The problem is that you will have to record 16 hours a day to make sure you don't miss the most exciting bits when you're asleep," he said.
