A website has been created to mock the attempts by Bill Gates to improve the security of Microsoft's products.
www.trustworthycomputing.com refers surfers onto a Google page.
The name is derived from a Gates email to Microsoft employees about the need to make its products "as available, reliable and secure as electricity, water services and telephony."
Visitors will find that the site contains an extensive archive of news stories covering Microsoft's so-far poor record in trustworthy computing.
