Google ties up DoubleClick acquisition

Google has completed its acquisition of DoubleClick

Google has announced the completion of its purchase of online ad firm DoubleClick.

Eric Schmidt, chairman and chief executive at the search giant, said that he was "thrilled" to secure DoubleClick.

DoubleClick's display ad platform will enable Google to bring technology and infrastructure to market more rapidly to improve the effectiveness, measurability and performance of digital ads.
