Mobile operator Orange has announced that it will have exclusive rights to sell the new Toshiba TG01 smartphone from Friday.
Unveiled in February, the TG01 is the first smartphone to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset which boasts a 1GHz processor.
As can be seen in V3.co.uk's hands on video from this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the TG01 features an exceptionally large 4.1in touch screen, but measures just 9mm thick.
The Windows Mobile handset runs a 'stripe'-based overlay allowing users to customise the layout based on their favourite shortcuts or applications. Shortcuts to the best of Orange World, TV & Video and Maps come integrated on the user interface.
Orange revealed yesterday that it will also be selling the much-anticipated LG Watch Phone in August.
The TG01 will be available for free on selected pay monthly price plans.
