The Times newspaper has launched on online TV service featuring regular news bulletins and fashion and entertainment packages.
Times Online TV is powered by online broadcast network Roo and features video content from news agency Reuters.
Visitors can select short video reports from a number of categories, including World News, Movies, Sport Clips and Music, which then play on the website.
"Video online is a crucial part of the new multimedia world and we hope this groundbreaking service will allow our users to join with us in experimenting in this area," said Peter Bale, online editorial director at Times Online.
The service can be used by broadband and dial-up users, with lower quality clips available for those with a slow internet connection.
