Qualcomm has filed a complaint against mobile phone giant Nokia regarding six intellectual property patents.
Nokia is accused of infringing six patents related to GSM, according to the Qualcomm filing with the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
Qualcomm has asked for a ban on the import and sale of Nokia products which feature the technologies included in the patent infringement filing.
Nokia has stated that it believes the patents were covered by a prior licence agreement. Nokia complained to European regulators about Qualcomm's competitive practices last year.
Qualcomm filed patent infringements against Nokia last month regarding two patents. The ITC investigation is earmarked for July.
