Dell has unveiled new mobile workstations along with a miniature mobile projector and a new privacy screen option for its Latitude E6400 business laptop.
Available now, the Precision M6400 mobile workstation ships with dual-core or quad-core Intel processors and up to 16GB of memory.
The 17in display supports resolutions up to 1900 x 1200 and can be driven by either an Nvidia Quadro FX 2700M graphics chip with 512MB video memory or a Quadro FX 3700M with 1GB memory.
The Precision M6400 can be fitted with one or two hard drives, with optional Raid configuration. Prices start at £1,479.
Dell also announced the M109S projector that weighs 350g and fits into the palm of the hand, according to the firm.
It can be powered by the mains adapter from a Latitude or Vostro laptop and produces an 858 x 600 image up to 2.4m away. The M109S is available now in the US, rolling out globally over the next few months.
Dell has also added a privacy screen option to its Latitude E6400 system. This software-driven feature creates a pixel-based pattern on the screen that reduces the side viewing angle for people seated next to the user, Dell said. The option is available immediately for £88.
