In light of the judicial order, AMD said that its counsel will engage in discussions with 30 third parties in an effort to implement the order so as to preserve evidence.
AMD said that its legal attack on Intel aimed to promote "fair and open competition and the value and variety competition delivers to the marketplace".
"Businesses and consumers should have the freedom to choose from a range of competitive products that come from continuous innovation. When market forces work, consumers have choice and everyone wins," the company stated.
