Oracle has unveiled the next edition of its customer relationship management (CRM) software, offering new capabilities that allow users to customise customer information.
The vendor said that Oracle CRM On Demand Release 16 allows users to build relevant columns of data for certain customers, removing the need to navigate between records when updating customer information.
"Oracle offers the flexibility and choice organisations need to drive measurable business results at every customer touch point," said Oracle vice president of CRM Anthony Lye.
The upgrade also contains improved forecasting and reporting capabilities that support unit-based forecasting for companies with quarters that start on days other than the first of the month, or have 13-week quarters.
CRM On Demand Release 16 will also be offered in a Single Tenant edition, which will allow customers to rent their own hardware and software and have access to optional disaster recovery, Oracle said.
