Mobile operator Virgin is considering jumping on the porn bandwagon.
The UK mobile operator is in talks with Playboy over the delivery of soft porn via the handset.
Although Virgin doesn't have a 3G licence, the company is expected to offer 3G services via partnerships with other operators. The firm is apparently looking at offering colour images, adult games and short video clips over the mobile network.
As mobile operators look for ways to recoup the £22.5bn spent on third generation licences, porn is looking increasingly likely as the saving grace.
Virgin is apparently in "tentative" talks with Playboy on the offering of "fun and flirtatious" adult services.
