Internet service provider Psinet has linked up with Viatel, a provider of long distance telecommunications services to boost Internet access in mainland Europe.
Under the agreement, Psinet will gain access to Viatel?s small and medium sized business customers on the continent. Viatel will also supply Psinet with access to high-speed circuits, dial-up facilities and management services in selected European cities.
"The Internet growth curve is just beginning in Europe," said Michael Mahoney, Viatel?s president and CEO. "We believe that bundling PSINet?s Internet services with our national and international long distance network provides our growing European customer base with a cost effective, integrated solution."
